Drifting in Tasmania began in 2005 with a core group of enthusiasts trying their hand at a sport that was still relatively new to Australia. That initial core group has evolved into Drifting Tasmania. The 2009 Tasmanian Drift Series runs from March to November and features the Specialised Performance Garage team.

TEAM NAME: The Overall Guys
PARTICIPATION:
Variety, The Children’s Charity Bash is a fundraising drive, in pre 1972 cars, that goes through outback Australia.
Variety raises money to allow them to purchase specific equipment for Australia’s special needs children. The bash is celebrating 25 years and has raised more than $90 million since its inception in 1985 by Dick Smith and is the Australian premier fundraising motor event. All cars participating have a theme and Bisley have sponsored ‘The Overall Guys’. |
